The Strength in Moms Team has been helping moms all over the Atlanta area for over 10 years. We support moms so they can stay fit throughout their pregnancy, prepare for labor & delivery and return safely to traditional exercise. Fitness MUST be a part of our lives and every mom deserves time to invest in her own health and wellness. Strength and fitness are important for all women during one of the most dynamic times in her life.

What an exciting time! Pregnancy and becoming a mom is such a dynamic time for you and your body. It does not matter whether you are preparing to share your life with a little miracle or you are adjusting to your new life with a new baby; it is very important to take some time out for YOU!



WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO STAY STRONG & FIT DURING YOUR PREGNANCY?

It is important to understand your body is going to change dramatically during pregnancy. This is not the time to try to lose weight, pick up a new high impact activity or push yourself to the limit. If you have been sedentary until now, START today! Let's get up and begin to focus on your body and mind so that your baby can reap the benefits. If you are an active and fit mom already, together we can maintain your fitness while adjusting to your changing body and your baby’s needs.

Don’t Lose Your Breath!

If you are out of breath, your baby is out of breath. Listen to your body! You should always be able to speak a full sentence to your trainer or friend. If you are too winded to speak, back down on your intensity level.
